Engulf yourself in the world of fiber – always held the weekend after Mother’s Day. Held at the Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville, Pa.
2026 will be our 12th year! Hard to believe it’s been that long. The festival is run by a group of volunteers that come from a variety of backgrounds but with same passion to make this a fun event. Over the years we have grown from less than 15 vendors to over 60. It’s been an amazing journey full of wonderful people and experiences.
The buildings are full of not only vendors by various demonstrators as well. If you have any question about fiber…any question at all…there is someone at this festival that can give you an answer. And everyone is so willing to share the knowledge they have.
But it’s not only fibery goodness, there are others with wonderful items. There is artisan soap, woodworkers with toys, fiber tools and more. We have handwoven baskets and we can’t forget the food. We are excited to welcome a winery and a vendor selling various nut butters this year. And we have our returning vendors with maple products, honey, tea and yummy baked goods.
So stop out over the weekend. The doors are open from 10-4 both Saturday & Sunday. It’s free admission and parking – the right price for a fun filled day. If you’ve never been, come see what it’s all about, you may get hooked on something. Food/drink trucks on site so bring a chair and spend the day! Hope to see you all there!
